Experiential Leaning: As an OTP Student Program Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in program administration and educational event coordination. You will assist with organizing materials, tracking data, marketing and social media efforts, and supporting program events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge from your studies to real-world educational program support, enhancing your skills in project management and data analysis.
Professional Development: This position offers numerous professional development opportunities. You will receive job-specific training provided by the College of Education and participate in University-wide training events. Additionally, you will have access to multicultural-sponsored training activities, career exploration activities via Career Services, and resume reviews with Career Services and/or WorkSource Oregon. These experiences will help you build professional competencies such as communication, teamwork, and project management, preparing you for diverse career paths in education.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions: – Assist OTP/CCRP Director and faculty with various administrative tasks
– Organize and align all OTP/CCRP Materials
– Assist Director and Mentor coordinator in tracking and data systems for 澳门金沙娱乐城app OTP mentors
– Assist with Marketing and Social Media for program and events
– Provide assistance to external evaluator collection of data
– Attend Spring Symposium and CEAD
– Help in preparation, registration, and attend OTP/CCRP PD Events
– Other duties assigned by the OTP/CCRP Director and Advisory Committee
Minimum Qualifications: – Current OTP junior or senior on the La Grande Campus.
– Able to perform on-campus duties and maintain regular office hours.
Preferred Qualifications: – Experience in administrative roles or educational program support.
– Familiarity with social media marketing and event planning.
– Demonstrated ability to manage projects and data effectively.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: – Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects.
– Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management and social media platforms.
– Analytical Skills: Ability to assist with data collection and analysis for program evaluation.
