About Dr. Rysdam

Sheri Rysdam earned her BA in English, Discourse Theory, with a minor in Spanish, right here at Eastern Oregon University! 她在西华盛顿大学获得创意写作硕士学位，在华盛顿州立大学获得修辞与写作博士学位。 After graduation, she worked as Associate Professor at Utah Valley University before coming to 澳门金沙娱乐城app.

Dr. Rysdam directs the 澳门金沙娱乐城app Writing Center and teaches various courses in the department of English/Writing. She actively publishes and presents in the areas of Teaching College Composition, Responding to Student Writing, Rhetorics of Political Economy, Social Class, Labor, Power, Feminist Medical Rhetorics, Doula Work, Literacy, and she writes poetry and creative prose as well. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, gardening, spending time with her small flock of sheep, practicing and teaching yoga, serving as a doula, and spending time with her family.
